Over the past years the demand for domestic holiday homes has increased dramatically. Private investors all over Germany have been seeking out vacation homes, not only for private use and rental, but also for the new purpose of home offices. Local recreational areas near metropolitan regions have also received a huge surge in interest from buyers. Marissa Group has witnessed this dynamic firsthand and has sold nearly all 500 units at our flagship Marissa Resort. We are now fully engaged in developing Marissa Lake Village on the Reeser Meer in North Rhine-Westphalia, continuing our commitment to meet the growing demand for luxury local holiday homes.

Classic strategy – proven success

Our business approach follows a classic development strategy. Houses and apartments are being built by a general contractor and sold key-ready and furnished to private investors. But unlike many developers, Marissa Group remains a part of the development by owning the infrastructure such as restaurants, commercial shops as well as all as the central facilities located at the destination (conference centre, spa, swimming pool etc.)

The Marissa Resort concept by Marissa Group is an ideal blueprint for the development of future holiday resorts throughout Germany. Building on this success, our team is fully committed to advancing the Marissa Lake Village project and is also actively speaking to owners and communities across Germany to expand our vision further.

At the centre of the discussions are large plots of land that offer easy access to metropolitan areas and have interesting nature characteristics as well as recreational value. Marissa Group estimates that several new destinations could be developed in the near future.
